Where are we going Sorrow?
We are going through the door to meet someone.
Who?
Ourselves
Oohh, that sounds exciting!
Who is Aislinn? (pronounced with a silent s)
She is me, I am her on another timeline. She is the Creator Being - Vessel of Inner Child Twin Energies: Joy & Sorrow.

Aislinn holds three:
Ai - Akashic/Aether/Atomic - Information/Inner sight
s - silence (in stillness and in emotion)
Linn - the pool below a waterfall
Aislinn’s Inner Child (as twin energies)

Aislinn’s inner child identity is expressed as twin energies: Joy and Sorrow.
They hold a piece of each other in the mirrored orbit of 13/31 at the centre of the wheel.
Their star chart brings them through Door 1 as her identity
Astrology House #1 (House of Self - Ascendant in Gemini conjuncts Black Moon Lilith in Jupiter. Air Apex of Kite (holds 3 points of Fire)

‘She watched as the child, warm and woven in sunflowers, ran with a skip in her step. The kite of fire pulling her toward the ever expanding darkness. There in the absence of light she gently took the hand of the child of sorrow, who waited, heavy in her silence. Together they slipped away somewhere in the space between night and day. Closely behind them the bull followed. The tinkering of its bell fading with the dance of fire light on a trail of sunflowers.’

Sorrow collects hidden truths from the shadow realm and gives them to Joy so they can be brought out into the light.
Sorrow’s relationship with the moon deepens her sensitivities.
She swims with her two fish in the moonglades between worlds.
She brings back Akashic truths and carefully selects which ones to give to Joy so she may carry them out into the sunlight.
She holds the remaining energies in a great storehouse of memory deep inside her earthly vessel, where it aches at the edges.
A repository of daydream and illusion to be decoded and distilled.
Sorrow understands the great honour and responsibility that comes with her gift of safe passage through the oceans of ancient awareness.
Her truths are light but feel heavy to carry in her body.
There is pain and loneliness in the holding of them.
It is in the noise and the slowness and the gravity that is so very human.
For the light spectrum of divine truths need weightlessness and space to exist.
A bravery in those that can carry them.
A fearlessness in those that can speak them.
A readiness in those that can receive them.
Her sorrow is ancient.
It is in the great disconnect within us where the warmth of source energy is cooled. Lost in the signals of mechanical monsters hidden in timelines.
It speaks to the rhythm of The Algor-Mortis: The Devourer of Divine Frequency.
It is pattern.
It is mirror.
It circles outside of us and misaligns within.
It is simulation as stimulation.
It is sedation as separation.
Its silence is loud in your body.
Its polarities exhaust you.
It comes in many forms.
It is older than you think.
It was there when we changed the master clock.
When we stopped looking up at the sun and the moon that circled the day and looked down into the artificial light.
There it holds us in fear, in fog, fragmented and forgetful.

Thoughts on Joy & Sorrow

These two have been dancing around inside me...well all my life I guess. They surfaced for a time, a few years ago.
They seemed tired like they had just stirred from a deep sleep and hadn’t quite settled into their ‘awakeness’ just yet.

They have offered me a unique lens into myself, into my astrology.
Two girls carrying the sun and moon playing with the planets
in a circle of houses.

Earlier this year they yawned and stretched their way out of my ‘book in progress - 13 Doors - a sacred text’.
Its slow growth teaching me much about myself.
When to push forward and when to pull back.
To recognise when procrastination as fear has been taking the lead and when to let the divine timing of my higher self guide me.

That the life I'm living in between the writing is the very source of it.

The fire in my soul, the laughter in my voice, the movement in my body, the water in my cells.

That to work this way is to truly fall and feel into the story of yourself, to write and rise from it as more than the ‘self’.

So I started seeing Joy & Sorrow more often.
Less static, less fuzzy at the edges, more animated and definitely more chatty.
Seemingly impatient and restless to find a way out.
They began having conversations with me and with each other.
Sorrow started asking lots of questions. She does that. She wants to understand everything.
She loves deeply, gently and quietly, from a distance.
She leaves the brave loud love to Joy who skipped her way off the pages with a big grin on her glowing face.
A kite of fire in her hand.

They don't stay for long. I’m learning this; their pattern.
They disappear for weeks or months at a time.
At first I wondered if I had hidden them away again.
Might I have tucked Sorrow back into my childhood bed and left Joy wanting?
But then I sat with their return.
How it comes with a soft sense of urgency. Not in a ‘drop everything right now’ kind of way
but in a ‘we have gifts, please make time for us’ kind of way.

And so now I think perhaps they have been busy somewhere else.
Like the paper keys of an ancient tree, they leave each time to seed new adventures.
Maybe Joy and Sorrow are nurturing future fields of flowers for us all to dance in.

Messages in Bottles
I met my Joy and Sorrow collecting bottled messages today.
They had washed up on a shoreline in an alien landscape far away.
Like the ones my father used to paint, before he was very ill.
Before he crossed over and I became still.
When I was not a child or an adult, just very in-between
When I was lost, when I was but sixteen
I asked the girls what did you read, what messages did you find?
Joy giggled ‘You know who wrote them silly, you're the one who left them behind’
Sorrow was quiet, she stopped and looked up at me.
She sat with my questions more thoughtfully.
‘Behind what I said, what do you mean?’
‘Behind time’ she said quite matter-of-factly
‘They are gifts and messages you wrote, set a drift on different timelines.
They follow the cosmic ocean, each life, each journey, wrapped in stars and signs.’
‘You sent them here to help you.
To know when to rest, when to run, when to climb.
They are your souls love coming back to you, time after time.’
‘How wonderful’ I said. ‘How clever are we!?’
Should we bottle something now, you know, for future me?
Sorrow reached up and gathered the stars from over her head.
They were the glow in the dark ones she - we, had stared up at, from our childhood bed.
She dropped them into the bottle and we watched the wonder spread.
‘These are to remember our dreams’ she softly said.
Joy tripped herself up while doing a wriggly dance.
Her light lit up the darkness and reached out into the great expanse.
She laughed so hard she snorted and then laughed a little more.
Her happiness fell out all over and into the bottle it did pour.
The gifts are here to help you learn, she said. To help you grow.
To help you build the path, on the way, as you go.
You're writing them into your memories, you're doing it now can’t you see?
In the present, for future versions, of you and me.
Your ancestors were weavers of soul song
It's strong in the bloodline.
You are here to carry their love and use it.
To write magic into a new storyline.
