The inner child, warm and woven in sunflowers ran with a skip in her step. The kite of fire pulling her toward the ever expanding darkness. There under the new moon in the absence of light she gently took the hand of the child of sorrow, who waited, heavy in her silence. Together they slipped away somewhere in the space between night and day. Closely behind, the bull followed. The tinkering of its bell fading with the dance of fire light on a trail of sunflowers.
